At the moment, you are not allowed to use other operators SIM card, as Reliance may have blocked the usage. But if you root it you may find it possible.

Actually you can buy Reliance 3G tab from anywhere in India, but for the 3G based service you need to have Reliance 3G connection. If Reliance 3G is available in your area then you can go forward and buy the tab :)

This is fantastic piece of device, which will appeal to masses, middle income group targeted customers, but i am apprehensive if it appeal to elite group of customers.
Hope you are also not targeting that segment otherwise mentioning “cheap price tag of Rs 12999” was a bad idea, instead the correct choice of word would be ”economic”. Mentioning the word ”cheap” un-necessary adds the stigma of being a ”device for people who cannot afford’ to it. Though its a small word, but it does play with human psychology. I would appreciate , if given a thought to amend the above statement, replace with a carefully chosen word.

Yes, they should have choose the economic or budget tab, as its more suitable. Adding a Cheap tag will always force the people to think of things made up of crappy materials and having some sort of problems or another..

Let see how’s the sales goes. :)
